 h course is designed to teach you the core foundational skills of the pott
 ery wheel. Whether you’re a beginner or intermediate\, this class will a
 llow you both the time and instruction to learn and improve upon your whee
 l throwing skills. Starting with basics\, centering\, opening through rais
 ing walls\, and creating volume\, you’ll move into learning shaping and 
 fundamentals of form.The first class on May 23rd\, students will be throwi
 ng on the wheel all day. The pieces will be bisque fired\, then the second
  class on May 30th\, students will be glazing for the duration of the cla
 ss. Pieces will be glaze fired and ready to be picked up approximately one
  week later. Students will be notified via email when pieces are ready to 
 be picked up.In the event of a class not meeting the minimum required part
 icipation\, Austin Area Arts (AAA) reserves the right to cancel any clas
 s within 48 hours of the scheduled class. For any class canceled by AAA\, 
 refunds will be issued to the original payment method or can be converted 
 to account credit to be used on a future class. For any questions on this
