A coffee van will be available. Lunch will be provided for team managers and officials.  All competitors must brin g a hat\, plenty of water and sunscreen. All competitors must wear footwea r in all competition events. See ‘Rules Of Competition’ for other rele vant rules. In the event of a ‘wash-out’\, performances at regional c arnivals will be used to determine final selections in the Diocesan team.   The Order Of Events will be a guideline for the day. However if wea ther conditions impede the running of the carnival\, the Order Of Events m ay need to be adjusted accordingly. Schools and Team Managers will have a copy of the rules prior to the carnival.  Please note the Carnival will start at 9.00am. All competitors for early events\, particularly Boys an d Girls 800m races must be aware of this. Those competitors who finish 1s t\, 2nd and 3rd in the Final for Track and Field Events and 1st and 2nd pl ace in the Relays will gain selection in the Diocese of Bathurst Athletic Team. Polding Carnival  – Friday\, 11th September 2026 – Glendale\, Newcastle.
