DESCRIPTION:A favorite of Austin audiences\, renowned pianist Roberto Plan
 o returns to celebrate American music with the most famous of all American
  piano pieces: George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Plano is the winner 
 of Cleveland International Piano Competition and a laureate at numerous in
 ternational competitions and one of Austin’s most beloved guest artists.
  The Symphony will also perform the Overture to Candide by Leonard Berns
 tein and closes this amazing season with Dvorak’s iconic New World Symp
