 ostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Combining eyewitne
 ss testimony with newly unearthed archival footage\, the film reveals how 
 a small group of impassioned activists achieved this unexpected victory.Fo

 ning Directors and local mental health providers about the real mental 
 health challenges our queer communities face today.We’re honored to welc
 ome Dr. Marshall Forstein\, Film Director Bennet Singer\, and community 
 member Shirley Royster as panelists. Dr. Forstein was present at Stonewa
 ll and became one of Boston’s first physicians to actively treat HIV pat
 ients. Bennett Singer is a Emmy-nominated filmmaker\, book editor\, and fo
 rmer executive editor of TIME Magazine's education program. Shirley\, who 
 lived through this era as a local community member and now serves on the S
