 ly 9:00 am\, and caravan up to Kanehekili Heiau area through several locke
 d gates. So\, if you wish to participate\, you MUST arrive by 9 am - it's 
 quite a drive up the mountain to our work site\, and we don't plan on comi

  any questions.ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONThe Koʻolau Foundation is a cultural h
 eritage preservation program. The mission is to pursue and promote Hawaiia
 n cultural and environmental practices\, preservation and education. The 
 cultural service work in Haʻikū generally occurs on the 2nd and 4th Sund
 ay of each month. Because the valley has locked gates\, we will need to e
 nter the valley together. The gates will be locked once all our vehicles h
 ave entered the valley. We'll work until about noon\, have lunch and stor
 y-telling\, and leave the valley around 1:30 pm. Mahalo for helping resto
 re and preserve Haʻikū Valley\, its beauty\, and history! TO BE PREPA
