  place on Sunday November 1st 2026 at the Bentley Hotel\, Newark Road\, So
 uth Hykeham\, Lincoln LN6 9NH. I look forward to a good turn out whether f
 or the meeting only or if you also wish to dine with us afterwards.\n\nThe
  Agenda is attached and the lunch menu is:\n\nStarters:\n\nChicken Terrine
  OR Smoked Salmon Mousse\n\nMain:\n\nCarvery\, no choices necessary just h
 elp yourself on the day. OR Beetroot Tart\n\nDessert:\n\nApple Tart with V
 anilla Ice Cream OR Chocolate and Caramel Torte\n\nTea and Coffee to be se
 rved after.\n\n3 courses are £28.50pp\, 2 courses £24pp and £20pp for a
  main course only  The hotel is completely cashless.\n\n\n\nPlease note t

 n\nAll Centre officers have agreed to stand for re-election. I will stand 
 as Centre Secretary with Sue as my trusty partner\, Alan as Chair\, Barry 
 as Treasurer\, Fred as Regalia & Calendar and Sue as Media. In the event o
 f anyone wishing to stand or proposing someone to stand ( with their agree
 ment ) for any of the positions of Chairman\, Centre Secretary\, Treasurer
 \, Regalia & Calendar\, and Media\, notifications must be sent to me by Sa
 turday October 17th please.\n\n\nSalient points on the Agenda:\n\nThe minu
 tes of the 2025 AGM are on the LinMog website linmog.co.uk in the members
 ’ area. Please let me know if you don’t have the current password for 
 this area.\n\nDiscussion and voting on Subscriptions will be required at t
 he meeting.  \n\nSubs pay for the website/domain name\, event expenses\, 
 AGM teas/coffees and any sundry centre expenses\, which are offset by adve
 rtising revenue from the magazine.\n\nIn addition\, volunteers will be ask
 ed to come forward for our 2026 Christmas Munch Charity Raffle and 2027 Su
 nday lunches/Munches/seasonal monthly events. Without organisers these wil
 l simply not take place\, so in order for LinMog to remain an active Centr
 e\, your help is required. Please do not assume that ‘someone else’ wi
 ll volunteer as this may not be the case.\n\nAny Other Business ( anything
  not itemised on the Agenda ) must be submitted to the Secretary 2 weeks p
 rior to the AGM ( by Saturday October 17th ) so it can be distributed to m
 embers to allow them to comment or vote at the AGM.  General discussion a
 t the meeting is fine\, but no votes or changes can take place unless noti
 fied by the due date\, in accordance with the Centre Rules.\n\n+++++++++++

 ed the rules concerning the management of Centres as follows:\n\nCentre Ma
 nagement\n\nIn the past the Centre Secretary has undertaken a pivotal coor
 dinating role. In recent times it has become increasingly difficult to fin
 d someone willing to take on the role of Centre Secretary. This document i
 s written to help Centres manage business with the available volunteers. A
  Centre may choose to manage its affairs without allocating the role to a 
 single person\, but a key contact for liaison with the Club should be iden
 tified – this can be a specific person or a shared email address.\n\nMan
 y Centres include a committee\, which may consist of some or all of Treasu
 rer\, Membership Secretary\, Events Co-ordinator or any other roles consid
 ered appropriate.\n\nIn the event of a change of CS or key contact\, it is
  essential that the new appointee informs the Membership Secretary (member
 ship.sec@morgansportscarclub.com)\, who will notify the appropriate Club v
 olunteers. The incumbent should organise an effective handover to his/her 
 successor. It is strongly recommended that key volunteers are familiar wit
 h relevant MSCC documentation.\n\n++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++\n\nIt is my opinion that we effectively opera
 te as a committee at the moment with our designated officers who\, togethe
 r with a large number of volunteers\, ensure the smooth running of the Cen
 tre. I personally do not see the need to change the way we manage the Cent
 re. If any member feels that the Centre should instead be managed by commi
 ttee\, as described by MSCC\, then a proposal needs to be submitted to me 
 2 weeks before the AGM ( by Saturday 17th October ) so that this can be ad
 ded to the agenda. If this is proposed and a change is voted for\, then vo
 lunteers would be needed to stand as committee members in place of the Cen
 tre Officers\, a key contact would need to be identified and the Centre Ru
 les will need to be amended accordingly.\n\n\n\nPlease advise me if you wi
 ll be attending the meeting before Wednesday October 14th\, even if you’
 re not dining\, as numbers are required for teas/coffees\, seats and docum
 ents.\n\nTea/coffee and biscuits will be provided FOC by LinMog at 10.30am
  followed by the AGM at 11am and lunch at 1pm.\n\nIf you’ll be dining or
 ders must be received by me before Wednesday October 14th.\n\nPlease state
  individual choices and also advise of any special dietary requirements.\n
