DESCRIPTION:St. John is the youngest son of Zebedee &amp\; Salome. John's 
 older brother is St. James. He was the youngest of the disciples\, &amp\; 
 unlike the others he did not face martyrdom. John was the only Apostle pre
 sent by Jesus' side at the crucifixion. Christ entrusted the care of St. M
 ary to John as he was the one 'Jesus loved the most'. St. Mary lived under
  John's care until her death. St. John lived in Jerusalem &amp\; later mov
 ed to Ephesus. He authored the Gospel &amp\; 3 epistles in his name. The b
 ook of Revelation was also written by him. He built many churches in Turke
 y &amp\; evangelized many to Christianity. Tradition states that he lived 
 to 120 years of age. A church was built over the site of his tomb. However
