DESCRIPTION:This concert presents the complete violin sonatas of Edvard Gr
 ieg\, performed by Akiko Miyazawa (violin) and Tommy Seah (piano).Written 
 across more than two decades\, the three sonatas trace Grieg’s artistic 
 development and remain central works of the Romantic chamber music reperto
 ire. From the freshness and vitality of the early First Sonata\, through t
 he distinctly Nordic character of the Second\, to the broader scale and ex
 pressive maturity of the Third\, the cycle offers a rich and varied portra
 it of Grieg’s musical voice when heard complete.Akiko Miyazawa is a viol
 inist with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra\, Artistic Director of C
 ygnus Arioso and a highly regarded chamber musician\, known for her clarit
 y of tone and musical sensitivity. She is joined by Tommy Seah\, an accomp
 lished pianist recognised for his collaborative approach and thoughtful mu
 sicianship\, with extensive experience in major violin and piano sonata re
