DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating Earth Day at Haʻikū today (:If you we
 re signed up for the previous access (4/12)\, you can transfer your regist
 ration to 4/26 - see email.  Others are welcome too. Counts for up to 5
  hours of service-learning. Limited space. PLEASE NOTE: This activity can
  be included no more than once per semester for MINA program participants 
 at the ‘A‘a (roots) - Beginner Level.DUAL REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by
  THURSDAY before the activitySign-up with MINA via the MINA ACTIVITY REGIS
 TRATION. If you are/ bringing minors\, remember that they need separate wa

 hursday before the activity.We will be leaving the meeting site at exactly
  9:00 am\, and caravan up to Kanehekili Heiau area through several locked 
 gates. So\, if you wish to participate\, you MUST arrive by 9 am - it's qu
 ite a drive up the mountain to our work site\, and we don't plan on coming

 ny questions.ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONThe Koʻolau Foundation is a cultural her
 itage preservation program. The mission is to pursue and promote Hawaiian 
 cultural and environmental practices\, preservation and education. The cu
 ltural service work in Haʻikū generally occurs on the 2nd and 4th Sunday
  of each month. Because the valley has locked gates\, we will need to ent
 er the valley together. The gates will be locked once all our vehicles hav
 e entered the valley. We'll work until about noon\, have lunch and story-
 telling\, and leave the valley around 1:30 pm. Mahalo for helping restore
  and preserve Haʻikū Valley\, its beauty\, and history! TO BE PREPARE
