DESCRIPTION:Conceptualized by sound artist/vocalist Ramya Shankar\, "The H
uman Experience: Emotion in a World of AI\," is an interactive vocal and s
onic journey exploring emotion as energy in motion. Through raga-inspired
 phrasing\, cross-genre soundscapes\, and audience participation\, the perf
 ormance traces stages of anger\, grief\, rejection\, and relationships - i
nviting discovery\, presence\, and deep listening in an AI-shaped world. T
he work moves through lived emotional landscapes--such as anger\, rejectio
 n\, grief\, and relationships\, joy\, realization\, each unfolding in disc
ernible stages. For example\, before exploring the stages of anger\, the a
udience is invited to sense the initial rise of tension through sound itse
lf. Drawing from raga phrasing and cross-genre influences\, the voice beco
mes a mirror of human behavior\, revealing emotion through resonance. Audi
ence participation is integral\, encouraging discovery and presence. In an
era shaped by AI and optimization\, this work re-centers listening\, embo
diment\, and emotional truth.Tonight's concert is an offering by the nonpr
ofit organization "Arts for More"--which seeks multitudinous ways to bring
