DESCRIPTION:The Billy Higgins Legacy Band makes an all-too-rare appearance
  on the Bird &amp\; Beckett stage\, this time out featuring the blossoming
  jazz talents of Rosalind Zhang\, a renowned classical cellist\, and the f
 ully mature jazz genius of saxophonist Richard Howell\, with a bassist to 
 be announced and the amazing drummer Myron Cohen.Saxophonist Richard Howel
 l has just returned from New York City\, having had the honor of sitting 
 in with Ravi Coltane at the famed Blue Note jazz club.  Making her secon
 d appearance at Bird &amp\; Beckett\, cellist Rosalind Zhang\, a native of
  Toronto\, Canada\, is principal cellist in the New York Concert Orchestra
 . After completing her academic degrees\, Rosie joined the China National 
 Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) on their 2017 US Tour\, where they p
 erformed in Carnegie Hall (New York)\, Symphony Center (Chicago)\, Davies 
 Symphony Hall (San Francisco)\, The Kimmel Center (Philadelphia)\, Hill Au
 ditorium (Ann Arbor)\, and Memorial Hall (Chapel Hill). In October 2018\, 
 Rosalind performed at the sold-out “Ocean of Dreams” event at the 10\,
 000-seat Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai. Here is video of a 2024 performa
