Over 520 people have graduated from this program since 2016 . 1951 Coffee also operates its own cafe location just two block south of the UC Berkeley campus at 2410 Channing Way. This cafe location serves as a convergence point for the immigrant community and the larger Bay Area co mmunity. Having employed 77 people\, the cafe currently employs 10 immigra nt staff in multiple entry level and leadership roles. The cafe program at 1951 Coffee has put $2.4million in wages and benefits into the immigrant community since 2017.  Starting in 2021\, 1951 Coffee began offering bu siness incubation support for graduates of their program.
