DESCRIPTION:The anniversary of the Metropolitan Consecration of H.E Mor Gr
 egorios Yohanna Ibrahim. \n\nH.E. Mor Gregorios Yohanna Ibrahim\, Archbish
 op of Aleppo & Environs (in absentia) was consecrated on March 4th 1979 by
  late Patriarch HH Mor Ignatius Yac'ub III of blessed memory. HE Mor Grego
 rios is one of the senior most Metropolitans of the Holy Synod of the Syri
 ac Orthodox Church of Antioch. \n\nOn April 21st 2013 HE Mor Gregorios\, &
  HE Metropolitan Paul Yazigi (brother of HB John X\, Patriarch of the Gree
 k Orthodox Church of Antioch) were abducted by terrorists on their way bac
 k from Antakya Turkey to their respective dioceses in Aleppo Syria. The tw
 o bishops were trying to negotiate the release of two abducted priests who
  were kidnapped earlier. The deacon who was driving their car was murdered
  on the spot. (May God bless his martyrdom) Unfortunately\, the whereabout
 s of both Prelates is currently unknown. \n\nBarekmor Sayidna! On this ble
 ssed day we your children cannot celebrate. While 4 Years have passed sinc
 e that wretched day\, we are just as devastated. We beg mercy to our Lord 
 & ask for your return back to us safe & sound. Our heart aches as we think
  of your suffering. \n\nWe the children of the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchat
 e of Antioch & the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch lift our hands u
 p in unceasing prayer\, and beg for our bishops to bless us with their fat
