 Lonely Under the Covers.” an evening of your favorite pop hits about rej
 ection and dejection.  The Beatles\, George Jones\, Julie London and Moto
 wn all have one thing in common – heartbreak. Help us shed the bad vibes
  as we revel in the wallow with infectious sardonic glee.Johnny Lonely and
  Joshua Raoul Brody return to Bird and Beckett with a fistful of dolours\,
  eager to share a tear and a beer (BYOB) with you as they dip into the Pop
  Culture Songbook of Sadness. But how long will Raoul be able to stand it 
 before he insists on playing something upbeat and cheerful? Songs include:
  “Cry Me A River\,” “Misery\,” “You Keep Me Hanging On.” and 
 “Sunshine and Lollipops.” Featuring Jeff Hobbs on reeds and violin and
  special guests.   August 13\, 7:30 pm B&amp\;B Bookstore. Brian Lohmann 
 is a singer-songwriter\, actor-improviser with BATS Improv. “Johnny Lone
 ly\,” grew out of his work with the seminal 80’s SF comedy troupe\, Fa
 ultline. He recorded and toured with John Wesley Harding and was a part of
  the SF vocal jazz sextet\, Acapella Gold. His songs were featured in the 
 indie film\, Thanks\, with Rita Rudner and Edi Patterson. His solo show\, 
 Johnny Lonely’s Unhappy Hour\, premiered at The Marsh\, then toured to S
 eattle and Australia. His debut album\, The One and Lonely\, Johnny Lonely

 panist\, and musical director.He has worked with Robin Williams\, Richard 
 Montoya\, Rick &amp\; Ruby\, and many other acts that begin with the lette
 r R. He currently runs the live karaoke show Plays His Favorite Beatles So
 ngs AND Accompanies YOU On YOURS!\, playswith and arranges for the medium-
 sized big band Orchestra Nostalgico\, and is musical director for BATS Imp
 rov\, Johnny Lonely’s Unhappy Hour\, and probably The Residents’ (hey\
 , there’s another act that begins with R!) God In Three Persons if it ev
 er plays again.
