DESCRIPTION:A China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) Lo
 ng March (Chang Zheng) CZ-3B/E rocket will probably launch the sixth 2nd g
 eneration Tianlian satellite\, Tianlian 2-06 into geosynchronous orbit. Th
 e 2nd gen satellites feature several technical upgrades\, including transm
 ission capacity and response speed. The launcher will fly as CZ-3B/G3 vari
 ant with a 4.2m diameter fairing.\n-\nThe Tianlian 2 (Sky Link 2) satellit
 es are geostationary relay satellites based on the DFH-4 bus (three-axis-s
 tabilized telecommunications satellite platform) with a launch mass of ~5 
 tonnes. Tianlian 2-06 (aka Tianlian 2F or TL-2F) will be used to support r
 eal-time communications between orbiting satellites and ground control sta
 tions. This system will replace the current network of ground-based space 
 tracking and telemetry stations and space tracking ships.
