 TY DESCRIPTIONThe MINA Orientation is mandatory for new and optional for 
 returning MINA participants. The orientation places participants in the hi
 storical context of the program\, provides foundational understanding of t
 he importance of MINA's kuleana\, and shares vital program logistics. Stu
 dents who cannot attend any of the orientation sessions must contact us at
