 the greater). St. James is the son of Alphaeus & Miriam (relative of St. M
 ary the mother of God).\n\nAfter Pentecost\, he preached the Gospel in Gaz
 a\, Sur\, Arabia\, & Egypt. He performed many miracles\, converting a mult
 itude to the faith. He was crucified in Egypt by the pagans. Thus St. Jame
