DESCRIPTION:Navy Veteran Dorothy "Dottie" Benedict will be buried in Mt. H
 ope Cemetery on November 19th at 10:30 am in their scattering garden. Dor
 othy was a member of St. John's who died in 2019. For unknown reasons her
  ashes were left unclaimed at the church and have resided in the church ev
 er since. As she has no traceable family\, the Rector has taken on the re
 sponsibility of giving her a decent Christian Burial. If you would like t
 o join the Rector for the burial please feel free to come. If you would li
 ke to help defray the expanse of the burial ($500) please make a donation 
 to the Rector's Discretionary Fund.
