DESCRIPTION:I will be developing sections of “All the Ghosts I Know Are 
 Women” - a 45-min live performance work and concept album complicating t
 he folkloric and ghost tales of the Pontianak and the 女鬼. The work sub
 verts these tales and repositions the ghosts as feminist symbols of justic
 e. \n\nAt the residency\, I will be developing an accompanying experiment
 al performance lab for the live work. The eventual public lab will support
  interdisciplinary artists-thinkers to engage in the work’s core themes 
 of desire and agency through sound\, movement\, image and text.
