Their approach takes advantage of newly developed adeno-associated virus capsids that directly target the brain to deliver orexigens. They have investigated the conseque nces of obesity in this model and found some anticipated changes including vascular dysfunction\, but also some unexpected effects on metabolism. In addition to presenting his seminar\, Dr. Fulton will meet individually or in small groups with interested individuals on April 2 and 3. These meetin gs are open to all OUWB and OU faculty\, staff and trainees. The small gr oup setting will provide an opportunity to discuss Dr. Fulton’s NIH-fund ed research and your research interests. If you are interested in attendin g one of these meetings\, please email Richard Kennedy\, Associate Dean\, Research and Graduate Studies. The meetings will be scheduled once faculty \, staff and student interests are identified. LOCATION: END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
