 io for explaining the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the Universe\, requir
 es a description of particle transport in a nonequilibrium plasma in the p
 resence of a spacetime-dependent bubble-wall background.\nThis transport i
 s usually described by the Boltzmann equation in the quasiparticle picture
 \, where a CP-violating background modifies the quasiparticle distribution
 s and generates particle-antiparticle asymmetries.\nIn this talk\, We firs
 t review conventional approaches to deriving the Boltzmann equation from q
 uantum field theory and discuss effects and theoretical issues that have n
 ot been adequately addressed in previous treatments.\nWe then introduce ou
 r systematic approach\, which provides a more transparent derivation and i
