DESCRIPTION:February 7th is the commemoration of the dukhrono of St. Julia
 n the Hermit according to the Liturgical Calendar of the Syriac Orthodox C
 hurch.\n\nAlso known as Julian Saba (Julian Sobo) In hagiography: Julian S
 aba lived near Edessa and practiced extreme asceticism. He had many discip
 les\, and he fought against the Arians for the case of orthodoxy in Antioc
 h.\n\nMor Youlyané Ounwoyo also known as Mor Elian was from Emesa (modern
  day Homs Syria). Church tradition tells us that he was a teacher of St. E
 phrem the Syrian. He refused to renounce Christ & so was murdered by his f
 ather\, a Roman officer. Thus Mor Youlyané attained the crown of martyrdo
 m. A Monastery was built in his honour in the 5th century\, however it was
  sadly destroyed by ISIS terrorists in 2015.\n\nOh Mor Youlyané Ounwoyo!
