This flight is internally known as Starlink Group 17-12 and the booster is designated as B1088.10 f or this mission\, flying with a reused fairing.\n-\nStarlink v2 "Mini" sat ellites are built by SpaceX and have a reported launch mass of 800kg. The mass-produced spacecraft carry a communications payload using the Ku and K a frequency bands\, plus E-band for backhaul\, which will allow Starlink t o provide ~4x more capacity per satellite than earlier iterations. They al so employ optical inter-satellite links\, phased array beam forming and di gital processing technologies. On the v2 sats the Krypton thrusters are re placed with new and more powerful Argon Hall thrusters. Starlink sats are able to track on-orbit debris and capable of autonomous collision avoidanc e. All satellites will be equipped with anti-reflective coatings. In total 7500 direct-to-cell Starlink satellites are planned.\nThe updated Starlin k network architecture has 1584 satellites at 550km altitude and an inclin ation of 53 degrees\, 1584 satellites at 540km and an inclination of 53.2 degrees\, 720 satellites at 570km and an inclination of 70 degrees\, and 5 20 satellites at 560km and an inclination of 97.6 degrees. The initial FCC application covered 4408 Starlink satellites. Eventually SpaceX will laun ch and operate a follow-on network of 7518 additional Starlink satellites transmitting in V-band frequencies. In the final deployment stage an addit ional 30000 Starlink satellites might get orbited.\n-\nScrubbed on Sep. 17 and 18.\n\nWebcast: https://x.com/i/broadcasts/1RDGlADvoeDJL\nhttps://ww w.spacex.com/launches/sl-17-12\nhttps://youtu.be/pvSh_oSwfd0\nhttps://spac eflightnow.com/2025/09/16/live-coverage-spacex-to-launch-24-starlink-satel lites-on-falcon-9-rocket-from-vandenberg-sfb-4/\nhttps://www.youtube.com/l ive/V2_dHbePULM\nhttps://www.youtube.com/live/8Od74BijKJ4\nhttps://x.com/i /broadcasts/1ynKOMnaAYnJR\nhttps://www.youtube.com/live/C2mOFlVkMg8 LOCATION:Vandenberg AFB Space Launch Complex 4\, Lompoc\, Kalifornien 9343 6\, Vereinigte Staaten END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
