DESCRIPTION:A United Launch Alliance Vulcan rocket\, designated V003\, wil
 l launch the USSF-106 mission for the US Space Force. Onboard this first f
 light of a certified Vulcan rocket will be the Navigation Technology Satel
 lite 3 (NTS-3 aka Timation-5) and another undisclosed payload for the U.S.
  Space Force. NTS 3 is a 1250kg experimental demonstration satellite for t
 he Air Force Research Laboratory\, which will be put directly into a near-
 geosynchronous orbit to test next-generation satellite navigation technolo
 gies. The NTS 3 spacecraft is based on Northrop Grumman’s ESPAStar satel
 lite bus and was developed by L3Harris Technologies. NASA's SunRISE (Sun R
 adio Interferometer Space Experiment) mission was removed from this flight
 . Vulcan will fly in the VC4S vehicle configuration with a double-engine C
 entaur upper stage\, four solid rocket boosters and a standard fairing.\n-
