 25The Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award practice hike will be an overnight hi
 ke in Nangar National Park on Sunday 18th &amp\; Monday 19th May 2025.Stud
 ents are to meet in the church carpark at St Raphael's Catholic School at 
 9am on Sunday 18th May where they will be escorted to Terarra Creek Campin
 g and Picnic Area in Nangar National Park by Mr Andrew Phelan and Mr Ben T
 homson.On arrival the group will hike to Mt Murga along Mt Murga Walking T
 rack (8km return) and return to Terarra Creek Camping and Picnic Area to s
 et up camp for the night.On Monday morning the group will hike from Drippi
 ng Rock to Mt Nangar along Mt Nangar Walking Track (6km return).Mr Andrew 
 Phelan and Mr Ben Thomson will return all students to the church carpark a
 t St Raphael's Catholic School by approximately 4:00pm.The school is able 
 to supply the students with hiking packs\, tents\, sleeping mat\, head tor
 ches and camp stoves if required. Please note that no mobile phones are t
 o be carried by students on this excursion.Both teachers will be carrying 
 mobile phones. Mr Andrew Phelan will also be carrying a Personal Locator B
 eacon (PLB) that can be activated in the event of an emergency where there
  is little or no phone service.Students should consider packing the follow
