  mainstay of the San Francisco jazz scene since he rousted out of the Army
  in 1965. Besides his third Sundays trio dates\, he's returns on the last 
 Sunday of each month with the trio to lead a jam session.\n\nThere's no fi
 xed cover charge for our Sunday afternoon happy hour shows\, so pay what y
 ou can! A twenty is great if you can manage it\, and more's the better! Bu
 t just pay what you think is right and that doesn't leave you hurting for 
 the rent money in this expensive City by the Bay. For students\, $5 or $10
  is fine. Kids\, free. Donations to the Bird & Beckett Cultural Legacy Pro
 ject help us keep Sundays open to all comers. No reservations typically ne
 cessary\, but feel free to call for one\, especially is you're coming with
  several friends or have mobility issues that we can accommodate.
