The mission is known as Leo 4 by ULA and LA-04 by Amazon. Total p ayload mass will be 15422kg. Atlas will deploy the satellites in an initia l orbit of 450km altitude\, the satellites will then use their electric pr opulsion systems to settle into their assigned final orbits. The Amazon Le o constellation will enable Internet service for customers between 56 degr ees north and south latitude. Atlas will fly in the 551 vehicle configurat ion with a five-meter medium length fairing\, five GEM-63 solid rocket boo sters and a single-engine Centaur upper stage.\n\nMission profile video: h ttps://youtu.be/ZATwTLIbQu8\n-\nOperational satellites of the Amazon Leo c onstellation (formerly known as Project Kuiper) are a significant upgrade from the two prototype satellites of the Kuiper Protoflight mission. The ~ 572kg satellites are equipped with Hall-effect thruster technology for pro pulsion. They feature improved systems and sub-systems on board\, includin g phased array antennas\, processors\, solar arrays\, propulsion systems\, and optical inter-satellite links. In addition\, the satellites are coate d in a dielectric mirror film unique to Amazon Leo that scatters reflected sunlight to help make them less visible to ground-based astronomers. Amaz on Leo is planned to work in concert with Amazon's network of 12 satellite ground station facilities. In addition to connecting to ground stations\, satellites will interconnect via optical infrared laser connections. Amaz on refers to this technology as OISL (optical inter-satellite link).\nThe Amazon Leo constellation is planned to consist of 3236 satellites operatin g in 98 orbital planes in three orbital shells\, one each at 590km\, 61 0km and 630km orbital altitude. Kuiper satellites will fly in mid-inclinat ion orbits\, enabling Internet service for customers between 56 degrees no rth and south latitude. Phase 1 of deployment will be 578 satellites at 63 0km altitude and an orbital inclination of 51.9 degrees. A total of five p hases of constellation development are planned.\n-\nDelayed from Dec. 15.\ n\nWebcast: https://www.youtube.com/live/8sUGNYmYjR4\nhttps://www.ulalaun ch.com/missions/next-launch/atlas-v-amazon-leo-4\nhttps://youtu.be/gZRQWww x4u8\nhttps://spaceflightnow.com/2025/12/15/live-coverage-ula-atlas-5-laun ch-will-put-amazons-180th-broadband-satellite-in-low-earth-orbit/\nhttps:/ /www.youtube.com/live/DMKIoVHNufM\nhttps://www.youtube.com/live/e5jbpeBXvp I\nhttps://www.youtube.com/live/W0eppNZfgYE\nhttps://www.youtube.com/live/ kqaZ1azWlhQ\nhttps://x.com/i/broadcasts/1nAKEEyajbvKL LOCATION:Cape Canaveral AFS Launch Complex 41\, Titan III Rd\, Titusville\ , FL 32780\, USA END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
