Work on communit y workdays is appropriate for ages 12 and up. Tasks may include moving ro ck and coral\, filling buckets\, hauling floating barges through the water \, cutting/pulling out invasive mangrove\, invasive limu and jellyfish rem oval\, trash pickup\, and reconstruction of the kuapā. The mission is to pur sue and promote Hawaiian cultural and environmental practices\, preservati on and education. The cultural service work in Haʻikū generally occurs on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. Because the valley has locked ga tes\, we will need to enter the valley together.
