DESCRIPTION:Rip n Sew club members would like to extend a wonderful idea f
 or Christmas.In lieu of traditional gifts for other members\, we believe i
 n the power of giving back to the community and making a difference.  We
  all find ourselves reflecting on the importance of compassion\, kindness 
 and the spirit of giving during the holiday season.  Inspired by the rem
 arkable works of the Ronald McDonald House\, we are asking our members to 
 think about donating a grocery gift card to this wonderful organization. 
  These gift cards will help take some financial burden off these families
  facing challenging times.  The Ronald McDonald House has touched the li
 ves of countless families\, offering comfort and support during times of m
 edical crisis.  These gift cards will help offset some of the families
 ’ expenses during this time of year.  Please consider donating a gift 
 card to any of the local grocery stores.The gift card can be as little as 
 $10 or as much as you would like to give. Please remember we want to serve
  as many families as possible\, example (2) $25 gift cards are better than
  (1) $50. There will be a jar to drop your gift cards in along the little 
 Christmas tree.  Thank you in advance for bringing extra joy to these fam
 ilies. Gift card collecting will begin Sunday\, November 16 and go throug
 h Sunday\, December 14.  If you have any questions please call\, Jolene

DESCRIPTION:The Sewing from the Heart group is for all Rip N Sew members w
 ho enjoy sewing for a cause. We have fifteen active sewers in our group. 
  We sew mostly for children\, but we will sew for any organization upon re
 quest. We sew for the Dysart Unified School District elementary children\
 , Nadaburg Elementary School\, and the Navajo Nation Indian Tribe elementa
 ry children. We sew modern clothing and choose quality fabric for our proj
 ects. Some members cut out from patterns\, some serge\, and some top stitc
 h. We sew leggings\, knit tops\, book bags\, pillow cases\, and other proj
 ects requested. We also take donations of fabric and other sewing notions.
