A Chinese Long March (Chang Zheng) CZ-8 rocket will launch a batch of 18 satellites for the Qianfan Xingzuo (千帆星座, "Thousand Sails", formerly known as G60) internet constellation of Shanghai Spacecom Satellite Technology (SSST), a Chinese equivalent of SpaceX’s Starlink satellites. The sats are designated as Qianfan 04A–04R for the Qianfan Group 04. The initial tranche will use 1296 satellites. Ultimately, the Spacesail constellation will consist of more than 14000 low-orbit broadband multimedia satellites. The rocket will fly as CZ-822 or ZH variant (组合型, Zǔhé Xíng) with separable boosters. - Delayed from June, December, January, Apr. 11, 20 and 22.
