A group of students have been selected by the school to attend the Kids Lit Quiz competition. This competition involves teams of students being questioned on a wide variety of children’s literature such as authors, titles and storybook characters. Their reading knowledge and recall will be tested in a fun competition. Details of this competition are as follows: Date: Tuesday 14 May 2024 Time: Leaving Ellerslie School at 9:00am and returning by 1:30pm Venue: St Cuthbert’s College, 122 Market Road, Epsom Transport: School Van Wear: Students should wear full and correct school uniform, including plain black shoes Bring: A suitable backpack with a lunchbox and full water bottle We are taking two teams of four Year 7-8 students this year. There will be some training for the quiz with Sharon Wilson, our school librarian, over the next few weeks. She will transport and supervise the students on the day of the competition.
