Volunteer Training_Cycling - Beyond the Basics

During this clinic, you can expect a quick refresher of the flow of the day and what the roles and responsibilities are as a volunteer on a road cycling program. We will review our bike fleet and dive deeper into some specific bikes that are less commonly used. For those less commonly used bikes, we will talk about fit up/set up, operation controls and spend time riding those bikes. We will go into skill progression and teaching tools that we can use to help our participants become more proficient on their bike. The day will wrap up by running through some mock lesson scenarios and practical application of the content we covered. This clinic will go into more detail about the technical lessons we might see come through the program.Experience: Have taken a road cycling clinic with ASA or another program in the past. This clinic is tailored towards returning volunteers that are looking to dive into more technical detail about our cycling program.
