Congratulations on your child progressing to the Diocesan Athletics Carnival.Please note the following points for the Bathurst Diocesan Athletics Carnival to be held at Barden Park, North Dubbo on Friday, 21st August 2026. The Order of Events and The Rules of the Competition are located on theCommunity Website for parents:  https://sites.google.com/d/1IRtJI0yq8QJ_KYxau-08G-treRWVNc6c/p/1HKxS3knlB-Ae-xFIHt6shizGFuqUB2oQ/edit Registration & Levy: Students must register and pay the $10 levy on the CSNSW Sport Website Carnival information:  Canteen facilities will be available on the day. A coffee van will be available. Lunch will be provided for team managers and officials.  All competitors must bring a hat, plenty of water and sunscreen. All competitors must wear footwear in all competition events. See ‘Rules Of Competition’ for other relevant rules. In the event of a ‘wash-out’, performances at regional carnivals will be used to determine final selections in the Diocesan team.  The Order Of Events will be a guideline for the day. However if weather conditions impede the running of the carnival, the Order Of Events may need to be adjusted accordingly. Schools and Team Managers will have a copy of the rules prior to the carnival.  Please note the Carnival will start at 9.00am. All competitors for early events, particularly Boys and Girls 800m races must be aware of this. Those competitors who finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Final for Track and Field Events and 1st and 2nd place in the Relays will gain selection in the Diocese of Bathurst Athletic Team. Polding Carnival  – Friday, 11th September 2026 – Glendale, Newcastle.
