Participation in Play It Strange and Rockquest is entirely student-led. Students are responsible for forming their own groups, organising rehearsals, writing and preparing their material, and completing all entry requirements. While the school is supportive of students pursuing these opportunities, there is no direct involvement from teachers in the preparation or submission process. Gym Weights Room UseThe Weights Room upstairs in the gym is available for students in Year 9 – 13 to use during lunchtimes. However, you need to be inducted and taken through a safety briefing before you can use it. If this is something you are interested in, see the PE teaching staff. +++Rock band TutorAre you in a rock band and would be keen for tutoring from a professional rock musician? Tutoring sessions may be available depending on student interest! See Miss Pridham in U7 for details (fee applies). +++Kia ora Years 11-13,I am accepting expressions of interest in regards to the Auckland Writers Festival school trip on Wednesday 13th May (please check if you have a Cambridge External Examination on this day). You will need to check with your teachers if it's okay to miss the school day. I have 11 seats only.
