Eisteddfod - Prim & Sec Dance

Junior and open secondary dance groups are performing at Cowra Civic Centre on Thursday the 29th of May. We are both in the 10am section.Students are to wear their normal school uniform.Open Secondary group onstage requirements: * footless stockings* no shoes* hair is to be sleeked back, middle part and low ponytail. Straightened if possible. * head pieces will be attached at school for uniformity. * appropriate dance on stage makeupJunior Secondary dance groups onstage requirements are:*appropriate dance on stage makeupSkin coloured body stockings or dance underwear if possible to avoid being seen with the stage lights. There is no cost to your child/ren for this event. We will walk down in costume, so please consider your ZIP up school jacket to pop over, school shoes or sneakers will need to be worn as we walk. No slides or crocs. We will be walking to the Civic centre at 9am. All costumes will be available to students from 820am in the MLSC, just see Ms Henry when you get to school. We have been allocated a space in the upstairs amphitheatre and this is where we shall be before our section. Students will need to remain in this space to ensure appropriate supervision. Therefore no access to the Centres canteen will be allowed. Students will walk back to school together at the end of both sections under teacher supervision. No child is allowed to leave the premises otherwise; unless with their own parent/guardian. Students will be provided additional recess time if required once back at school. All costume pieces are to be returned at this time to Ms Henry and normal school uniform to be worn for the rest of the day. Parents/guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend and witness their child/rens dance. All students have been working tirelessly in practices and we could not be prouder of their commitment.
