A Galactic Energy Ceres 2 (Gushenxing 2, GX-2) rocket will launch on its first flight, with six commercial satellites and two inseparable payloads, totaling over one ton. Part of the manifest will be Zidingxiang 3 (紫丁香三号, Lilac 3, also known as Space Chain 1), which is an ultra-flat disk satellite. Zidingxiang 3 will carry out a number of new technology tests including ultra-flat thermal and mechanical integrated configuration, new attitude control, and atmospheric drag orbit control. The three stage solid-fueled Ceres 2 rocket is topped with a liquid-fueled upper stage. - Delayed from June and August.
