Call for abstracts: The Western Interdisciplinary Student Symposium on Language Research (WISSLR) is an interdisciplinary conference organized and hosted annually by Linguistics students at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. To see past programs, visit: https://www.uwo.ca/linguistics//research/wisslr/index.html Students of any level are invited to submit proposals, abstracts, or ideas in any field of inquiry related to linguistics and the study of language. No registration fee is required, and everyone is welcome to enjoy the wide range of talks that will be presented at WISSLR. This year, the conference will be hybrid, with options to present online or in person. We will also have a poster session in person! The abstract submission deadline was January 23th, 2026.
