A student-led club from ANU - the ANU Solar Racing Team - have approached me as they offer a range of STEM engagement activities to schools. The team offers a presentation, showcasing the newest car build and/or running of interactive STEM focused workshops for year 10 students. Their goal is to inspire, educate, and promote students’ renewable energy, engineering, and sustainability opportunities and pathways. (Visiting @ 1.30pm)Bit of Background - The team is a fully student-run, non-profit team comprised of passionate and dedicated young individuals committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation. Entering their tenth year, the team designs, builds, funds, tests and races an entirely solar-powered car for the grueling 3000 km Bridgestone World Solar Challenge across Australia.
