The first talk will present the findings from a survey of public attitudes with respect to adding a conscience clause that would allow patients or families to opt-out of brain death determinations. The second talk will report on the findings of a "secret caller" study regarding the availability of emergency contraception for vicitims of sexual assault across all emergency departments in MI. The third talk will present a survey of medical student attitudes towards uterine transplants for transgender women and cisgender men. The fourth talk will be a commentary on the unique challenges in rural medicine of giving advance notification for treatments a physician or clinical conscientiously object to providing. The fifth talk will present data from an ethics simulation with surgery residents on DNR in the OR. This activity is approved for 1.5* AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
