This will be a celebration and consolidation of our Inquiry learning this term. Our learners will see some incredible artefacts close up which will enable them to:Confirm their understanding about what a fossil is, how they are formed and why palaeontologists study themMake connections between animals that live today and those that lived millions of years agoObserve and identify the differentiating features of a variety of dinosaursLearn the whakapapa of various fossils found across Tāmaki Makaurau and Aotearoa to make connections to their own pastThere is no charge for this experience.We are looking forward to a great learning opportunity.
