D’ni Holiday: Lost Books of Birenni found

Today is the day when the Lost Books of Birenni was found.A picture of the Lost Books can be seen in one of the three pictures in the D’ni Museum in Ae’gura.During the time of Ahlsendar’s Plague, King Hemelin was fairly convinced that a cure lay in the Books of Old, and he had been encouraging the Guild of Healers to look there, seeking the Books of Birenni. His nephew King Behnashiren had been hesitant to allow access to the Books. Rumors say that while Lalen was searching through the Books of Old she found hints as to where more of the Old Books had been kept. It was a few months later that the Books of Birenni were found, on Leevobro 12, 2262. Healer Jaysem worked day and night for six years until a cure was found.In later years, though still a day that many chose to wed, the day became known for the fire marble search. Fire marbles were hidden in homes and Ages throughout D’ni and the children were sent on searches for the marbles, reminding D’ni of the search of Lalen and Hemelin to find the cure for their people.
