Liberation Cinema is holding a workshop on how to organise anti-colonial grassroots film screenings anchored by community. This is for anyone interested in becoming involved with and contributing to Liberation Cinema, or if you want to start your own film screenings. We'll explore how film screenings can be a site for critical dialogue, collectivising and invigorating cultures and legacies of resistance. The workshop will be balanced between discussing conceptual ideas and sharing practical knowledge about all the steps in organising screenings. We invite participants to bring your own ideas to share for the possibilities that film screenings hold.
