Y7/8 Eastern Zone Hockey Competition

A group of Year 7/8 students have been selected to represent Ellerslie School in the Eastern Zone Hockey competition. Full details of this competition are:Date: Tuesday 17 JuneTime: Leave Ellerslie School at 8:30am, return by 2:45pmVenue: Lloyd Elsmore Hockey Stadium, Lady Marie Drive, PakurangaTransport: BusPermission: Our EOTC blanket permission form covers this tripWear: Students will be given a sports shirt and long hockey socks to wear. They should also wear their P.E. shorts and comfortable sports shoes. Bring: - Mouthguard (compulsory, students will be unable to attend if they don't bring one on the day)- Packed lunch box- Full water bottle- Uniform fleece jumper or jacket- Raincoat or sunhat as required- Shin pads (if you have them, otherwise school can provide them) - Hockey stick (if you have one, otherwise school can provide one)We will be having practices at 8:00am on Wednesday and Friday this week and next week to prepare for this competition. Please support your child to attend these practices.On the day of the competition students should arrive by 8:30am and meet Mrs Bradley in Kauri 1 Pod. We welcome any parents/ whānau to come and support us at the hockey turf.
