Work on community workdays is appropriate for ages 12 and up. Tasks may include moving rock and coral, filling buckets, hauling floating barges through the water, cutting/pulling out invasive mangrove, invasive limu and jellyfish removal, trash pickup, and reconstruction of the kuapā. If you want to come on your own time (not with/for MINA), there are community workdays on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of most months during the year. To learn more about the organization and the loko iʻa visit their website paepaeoheeia.org and follow them on Instagram @paepaeoheeia   TO BE PREPARED, BRING/WEARCovered shoes or tabis (mandatory to participate)NO CROCS OR SANDALSClothes you don’t mind getting dirtyHat and sunglassesReef-friendly sunscreenFILLED reusable water bottleTowel, pareo, change of clothesMess kitDIRECTIONSComing from Honolulu, take the Kahekili exit.
