DESCRIPTION:Mor Evodius was a pagan who converted to Christianity due to t
 he apostolic work of Saint Peter. According to the Book of Acts\, the firs
 t communities to receive evangelism werer the Jews and pagans of Antioch.\
 n\nSt. Evodius the successor of St. Peter\, the Apostle\, was one of the s
 eventy disciples sent out by our Lord to preach. John Chrysostom counts Ev
 odius contemporary with the Apostles and is also known as the first bishop
  of Antioch ordained by St. Peter. After the martyrdom of St. Peter at Rom
 e in AD 67\, Evodius became the Patriarch of the Holy See of Antioch. St. 
 Evodius wrote several compositions. In one of them he writes that the Most
  Holy Virgin Mary gave birth to the Savior of the world. \n\nSt. Evodius w
