 ment program for medical educators has identified a core set of instructio
 nal skills for teaching effectiveness. Incorporating this set of core inst
 ructional skills into your teaching repertoire will allow medical faculty\
 , both experience and junior\, to become more effective educators and prep
 are residents for life-long learning (an ACGME core competency). This Stan
 ford Faculty Development program will showcase three priority skills of Gi
 ving Feedback\, Evaluation\, and Self-Directed Learning\, which are a prac
 tical and appropriate formal introduction to clinical instruction.
