DESCRIPTION:An Isar Aerospace Spectrum rocket will launch on its third fli
ght to carry two GreenBox satellites for the Austrian company R-Space into
orbit. GreenBox 1 is named AT-Astra (aka IOB-01) and represents the first
commercial satellite fully developed and built in Austria. It is
a platform for IOD (in-orbit demonstration) for experiments from three cus
tomers\; Austrian companies Enpulsion and SunBooster\, and the Portuguese
firm Synopsis Planet. The mission will be named "?" by Isar and "R-Space I
OD-1" by the customer. Spectrum is a two-stage launch vehicle propelled by
liquid propane and LOX\, where stage 1 features a cluster of nine Aquila-
SL engines and stage 2 one reignitable Aquila-Vac engine.\n-\nAT-Astra\, a
2U CubeSat\, is the first commercial satellite fully developed an
d built in Austria and will carry experiments from three customers. ENPULS
ION is one of the world's leading providers of electric propulsion systems
based on Field Emission Electric Propulsion (FEEP) technology. On AT-Astr
a it supports the OOBI project (On-Orbit Behaviour of Indium)\, heating sa
mples of indium\, the propellant used in its FEEP thrusters\, to their mel
ting point to observe how liquid metal behaves in microgravity\, with imag
es downlinked via the R-Space Greenbox platform. SunBooster is a Graz-base
d company testing a newly developed solar module in orbit for the first ti
me. Its design combines surface-mount (SMT) micro solar cells with mini bl
ocking diodes to improve resilience against micrometeorites while keeping
costs low\, targeting a tenfold cost reduction compared with existing spac
e solar modules. Synopsis Planet features a compact\, high-performance sta
r tracker that combines precise attitude determination and space-debris de
tection in a single unit. Developed with the University of Lisbon and fund
ed by PRR New Space Portugal\, it processes data on board for real-time st
ar identification and moving-object detection\, simplifying spacecraft arc
 hitecture and reducing downlink needs.
