 e is a very short bridge on Flat Hill Road that goes over Catacunemaug Bro
 ok\, which feeds Lake Shirley. There are road closure signs\, jersey barr
 iers\, and a backhoe parked on the bridge (as of Friday 4/25). You will ne
 ed to stop and dismount to get past the barriers.Park in the dirt lot off 
 Broadmeadow RoadGet lost in the towns West of Groton with the longer route
  climbing North to NH.  Now with an added 49-mile route that adds a lot o
 f climbing but just a few extra miles.Rain cancels by 8:00 am. If in doubt
