DESCRIPTION:April 21st the Syriac Orthodox Church commemorates the martyrd
 om of Deacon Fatuh +2013. The Church also earnestly pleads for the release
  of HE Mor Gregorios Yohanna Ibrahim & HE Metropolitan Paul (Boulus) Yazig
 i who were abducted 5 years ago. \n\nOn April 21st 2013 HE Mor Gregorios A
 rchbishop of Aleppo\, & HE Metropolitan Paul Yazigi (brother of HB John X\
 , Patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch) were abducted by terr
 orists on their way back from Antakya\, Turkey to their respective diocese
 s in Aleppo\, Syria. The two bishops were trying to negotiate the release 
 of two abducted priests who were kidnapped earlier. Deacon Fatuh\, the dri
 ver of Mor Gregorios\, was murdered on the spot. Thus he attained the crow
 n of martyrdom. Unfortunately\, the whereabouts of both prelates is still 
 unknown.\n\nBarekmor Sayidna! While years have passed since that wretched 
 day\, we are just as devastated. We beg mercy to our Lord & ask for your r
 eturn back to us safe & sound. Our heart aches as we think of your sufferi
 ng. \n\nLikewise\, we commemorate the martyrdom of Syriac Orthodox Deacon\
 , Fatuh who was murdered at the hands of terrorist. May he sit amongst the
  company of the holy martyrs of the Church. \n\nWe the children of the Syr
 iac Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch & the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of 
 Antioch lift our hands up in unceasing prayer\, and beg so our bishops may
  bless us with their fatherly presence once again.
