 students who also serve as caregivers\, balancing these responsibilities s
 imultaneously can be overwhelming. Unlike employees who often have access 
 to workplace benefits and support systems\, medical schools are lacking in
  resources and support for their students\, leaving medical student caregi
 vers feeling unseen and unsupported by their institutions.Objectives:At th
 e conclusion of this activity\, learners should be better able to:Identify
  challenges faced by medical students with caregiving responsibilities and
  the impact on their learner well-being and academic progression.Examine i
 nnovative institutional strategies\, such as policy development\, family-f
 riendly spaces\, and academic flexibility.Collaborate across departments t
 o create best practices and design solutions for supporting medical studen
 t caregivers.Develop best practices\, supports and resources to implement 
 in their own departments at OUWB.
